There is no specific software update required for Irish Payroll users this year, but you must click the Payroll > Masters > Tax Master Maintenance > Update button any time from now until the end of December and before you process any Payroll from January 2025 (i.e. do it now).
You must also check whether you will have a week 53 in December 2025 and set this before any payroll is processed from January 2025. Please read this document that explains how to do this. Many thanks.
If you are an Evolution M/Mx user that processes their Irish Payroll through the system, then you must ensure you apply a PRSI update before calculating any pay from 1st October 2024. DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS HERE.
The UK Payroll Year End Supplement for April 2024 is now available here. This contains all of the information you need to complete the current year (2023-24) and start the new year (2024-25). You need to be on version 8.00.7774 or later, before calculating pay from 6th April 2024 (which should be the case by the end of March 2024).
As per last year, you will have to download your Tax & NI Bands from Evolution M itself. Please read the document thoroughly before completing the current year, calculating pay from 6th April 2024, or logging a Support call. Many thanks.
If you need to install Evolution M on a new client, simply click here and then on the 'Click Here' option next to the 'Version 7.07 Client' and then click Save File. Right-click 'setup.exe' and choose Run as Administrator, click Next twice then enter the IP address of your server. Click Next, Install and Finish and the Evolution M client will be on your desktop.
We're pleased to announce that we are on the list of Software for VAT available now with regard to Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT. Evolution M version 7.01, which is being rolled out now until the end of March, contains both Payroll legislation functionality for 2019-20 and the MTD VAT module.
